

Because it is apparently not possible for me to completely abandon the quest for professorship, I am currently composing a(nother) new cover letter. I am attempting to remain completely honest in my self-representation. That way, in the admitted high likelihood that I am not selected for an interview from among the likely hundreds of worthy fellow applicants with an earnest affection for the language arts, at least I retain the cathartic satisfaction of writing my real voice.
So, an example sentence:
